4. Lawful bases
Depending on the activity, we rely on performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing the community, compliance with legal obligations and consent where a genuine optional choice requires it.
5. Who receives information
Information may be processed by carefully selected hosting, database, email delivery, monitoring and support providers acting for us. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect people or systems, or as part of a legitimate business transfer with appropriate safeguards.
The Throwers Arms does not sell personal information and does not use it for third-party behavioural advertising.
6. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism and contractual safeguards required for the provider and destination.
7. Retention
We keep active account information while your account exists. Security and administrative records may be retained for a reasonable period after closure where needed for fraud prevention, dispute handling, safeguarding, legal compliance or platform integrity. Development email previews are intended for local testing only and must not be used on production systems.
8. Your choices and rights
You can edit profile details, make the profile private, change your password, enable two-step verification and revoke other sessions through the member area. You may also ask us to provide, correct, erase or restrict personal information, object to certain uses or supply portable information where the relevant right applies.
Contact support@throwersarms.com to make a data request. We may need to verify your identity first. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
9. Cookies
The service uses essential cookies for authentication, security, session continuity and trusted-device functionality. These cookies are required for the signed-in service to work. We do not enable advertising cookies in this release.
